I began playing the game of golf before I was 2 years old. My parents gave me a plastic set of clubs for Christmas and off it went from there. I’d spend hours hitting balls out into the yard while my family teed them up and watched me. I started playing tournaments at the age of 8 and quickly realized that my goal was to become a professional golfer.

I knew it would not be easy or normal for someone from small-town Montana to pursue such a dream, but I was determined and had the full support of my family along the way. By the time I got into high school, I had competed across the country against the best junior golfers. I got beat up a lot out there, but I knew I could compete with the best and I wanted it. I played well throughout high school earning a scholarship to play at Arizona State University, my dream school.

College golf wasn’t always a smooth ride for me with extended periods of slumps in my game, but I took the very most I could get out of it spending 5 years there improving my game and making friends from all over the world. My senior year was capped off with a team win at the Pac-12 championships and All-American honors for myself. From my college rankings, I was able to earn status on the PGA Americas Tour during my first summer out of school where I played in Canada for 10 events.

Here’s where the journey gets a little unusual. After that summer, I decided to play in the DP World Tour qualifying school because it was held before I would need to start my PGA Tour qualifying school. The decision was based mostly to gain experience in the intense atmosphere of qualifying schools, where one round can make or break your season. I figured two chances to gain status was better than one, right? So I travelled to France where I made it through first stage, then Spain where I made it through the second and final stages, earning status on the DP World Tour.

My season started immediately after in Australia for the first event. My golf career took a giant leap forward when I made the leap to the DPWT, and in just my second start on the DP World Tour, I stunned the golf world by capturing the ISPS Handa Australian Open. This remarkable victory proved that I could compete on some of the highest stages. With that win, I earned full status on the DPWT and qualified myself for the 2025 British Open, where I ended up making the cut.

But for me, I hope this is just the beginning. I’m always looking for the next challenge and never satisfied with where I’m at! My ultimate goal is to compete on the PGA Tour, and I’m working tirelessly to make that dream a reality. I believe I have the tools to compete at the highest level, and my early success is only the tip of the iceberg. My ambition is clear: to continue climbing, to continue winning, and to one day establish myself as one of the top players in the world.
